Director of Product Marketing

This position will be responsible for leading product marketing and customer development activities for RIC’s Smart Vision team. The Director of Marketing and New Business Development will define market opportunities, identify key customers, develop and implement marketing strategies, work with a cross-functional teams to define market solutions while creating partnerships and channels that generate revenue.

 

The incumbent will meet annual revenue and profitability goals while continually identifying and assessing new markets, products, and technology opportunities.  Additionally, he/she will ensure that sufficient resources are in place to drive marketing strategies that successfully capitalize on business opportunities.

 
Responsibilities

As a key member of RIC’s executive team, The Director of Marketing and New Business Development will …

  • Develop strategic marketing plans for targeted markets.
  • Define overall product and technology portfolio strategies that will drive long-term growth of RIC.
  • Evaluate trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on marketplace shifts.
  • Develop processes to obtain and disseminate competitive intelligence across all markets and product lines.
  • Analyze existing products and markets in terms of RIC’s ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue, and sustain profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and OEM teams to define effective sales channels for all products.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Formulate and manage marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with sales in creating company’s revenue forecasts.
  • Partner with sales staff to identify accounts that have growth potential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of RIC’s offerings.
  • Develop relations with and provide customized presentations to 3rd party partners regarding strategies for business growth.
  • Understand channel sales opportunities.
  • Develop a system to organize and track account information.
  • Report relevant market information to executive leadership.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, cost management, and result achievement.
  • Lead new projects proposals.
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing, business development, and strategic partnerships.
  • Expert knowledge in providing Cloud based solutions.
  • Excellent executive relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to align and motivate cross functional teams.
  • Exceptional quantitative business modeling skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Power Point, Excel)
  • BS/BA required.  MBA preferred
