Director of Product Marketing

This position will be responsible for leading the marketing and customer development activities for Ricoh Innovations Corporation’s (RIC) Smart Vision team. This entails leveraging Ricoh’s patented image recognition, computer vision, and machine learning technologies in areas that include retail, publishing, marketing, and analytics. The Director of Product Marketing will define market opportunities, identify key customers, develop and implement marketing strategies, work with a cross-functional team to define solutions for these markets, and create partnerships and channels that generate revenue.

  • Product marketing management and customer development for RIC’s Retail Intelligence business unit 

    • Form strong customer relationships built on superior client management and unparalleled service
    • Manage the full sales process from lead to contract 
    • Work closely with the product development team to ensure client satisfaction
    • Learn and understand the Retail Intelligence value proposition and its competitive differentiation, and communicate that effectively to prospects and clients
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry landscape and keep up with the changing environment surrounding the competitive landscape associated with the industry
    Education & Background
    • BS/BA required, MS/MBA preferred 
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product marketing for SaaS/cloud/enterprise businesses
    • Extra consideration given for experience with analytical solutions for Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturers, Retailers, and Distributors 
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, assess and influence a wide range of customer stakeholders 
    • Ability to quickly gain a deep knowledge of the customer’s business, current economic and industry trends and potential new business opportunities
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize product roadmap based on clearly articulated market impact 
    • Experience with applications using image recognition and/or computer vision a bonus
